Technology allows us to create an ordering system that is virtually paperless, which translates into faster processing time and reduced cost. Orders are received on-line, via e-mail, phone or by fax and assigned to a Customer Service
Representative. Physician’s information is confirmed, contact with the custodian of records is made, and a formal Letter of Request is produced. The completed Request Order is sent out the same day it is received.
Although technology helps to increase the speed of order processing and document transfer, the true key to success in obtaining the APS quickly is daily follow-up with the facility. Detailed status reports are updated every three days.
Our representatives are in contact with the facility from the moment the order is requested until the records have been received. Through our document management system, medical records are then scanned, uploaded to a secure server,
and are available to the carrier from any web-connected computer. The information can be managed, printed, or forwarded at the user’s discretion. Alternately, medical records are formatted consistent with our client’s workflow and
ripped directly into their system via FTP, or a traditional paper copy can be provided to the customer when preferred.
